Lessons focus on technical skills, interpretation, and performance.
Each student is educated in theory, technique, and music reading. They learn to play scales from memory, and explain musical terms and symbols. As the students progress, they learn to properly interpret the mood of a piece, as well as creatively interpret pieces.
Students participate in studio challenges and recitals. These events motivate students and build confidence in their musical abilities.
Piano lessons are 30 minutes every week for beginners. The more advanced students have a 45 minute lesson every week. A schedule of daily practice is required of all students.
